Health Screening: HCM and PKD-Clear Lines
Responsible breeding starts with the parents. Our British Shorthair and Ragdoll breeding cats are HCM screened, which means a veterinarian performs an echocardiogram, a heart ultrasound, to check for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. HCM is a heart condition that can affect several breeds, and screening breeding cats is one of the most important steps a breeder can take.
Our lines are also PKD-clear, meaning we select away from polycystic kidney disease. For breeds such as the British Longhair and Maine Coon, HCM screening is an expected question before reserving a kitten. No responsible breeder can guarantee a kitten will never develop any condition, and we are transparent about what screening does and does not promise.
Veterinary Health Certification and Vaccination Records
Every kitten comes with full veterinary health certification and vaccination records. You receive these records at handoff, and we can share them before you reserve so you can confirm the health screening story for yourself.
This documentation is part of health transparency. A breeder who cannot or will not share health records is a warning sign, while a breeder who shares them freely is doing the work you want to see.
What You Receive at Handoff
- Your kitten, handed to you in person.

How Personally Accompanied Delivery to Florida Works
We do not ship kittens. We use personally accompanied delivery, which means a team member travels with your kitten from our Maryland cattery to your Florida home and hands it to you in person. The team member stays with the kitten the entire way, door to door.
Whether you live in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Jupiter, or Orlando, we serve Florida families with personally accompanied delivery from our Maryland cattery, with delivery to all 50 states. The care and company your kitten receives on the journey is part of how we place them well.
The Family Screening Process
Families are screened before placement. This is a short conversation that helps us understand your home, your experience with cats, and what you are looking for, so we can match the right kitten to the right family. It is not a test to pass, but a way to make sure each kitten goes to a prepared, suitable home.
After family screening, you reserve your kitten with a clear agreement, and we plan the personally accompanied delivery to your door. Read more about the kitten styles we offer or HCM screening in cats explained.
